Lost will end in 2010
OK, so, we finally have some answers in regards to how long we will need to wait in order to find out what the hell is going on!!!
Producers of US TV show Lost have confirmed the show will run until 2010.
A further 48 episodes, split into three shorter seasons, will follow the conclusion of the current third series and the show's final episode - Lost's 119th - will air in three years' time. Producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, who made setting an end date for the show a condition for staying, have signed new multi-year deals with ABC Television Studio to continue with the series until the end. ABC Entertainment president Stephen McPherson said: "In considering the powerful storytelling of Lost, we felt this was the only way to give it a proper creative conclusion. "I always said that we would allow the series to grow and give viewers the most compelling hour possible. "And, due to the unique nature of the series, we knew it would require an end date to keep the integrity and strength of the show consistent throughout, and to give the audience the payoff they deserve." Cuse also said that he hoped more shows would follow suit and declare an end date. Source: ITV News

Heard that this was the last season last year however when it first started they said that they were signed up for seven seasons think this will be the last though they seem to be tying things up

I love lost, have watched from the beginning, if it continues to 2010, i may be dead by then, so will never know the ending. Thanks.

Having watched from the beginning you just end up with too many theories as to whos doing what and why and as for Jin, whats all that about and is he dead or alive?

i absolutely love lost and watched it religiously during th first two seasons on channel4, but when season 3 was aired on sky one i didnt have sky. i have only just got it so i needto buy the box set and wait for season 4 to end buy that and watch it straight away just in time for season 5, it all to stressfull knowin that its on at the moment but not havin a clue whats going on lol so i hope that there is about 10 seasons ill be so sad when the last one is played, i can honestly say i will cry knowin that it will neva eva be bk on the tele.

Just a friendly word of advice but it would be better if you registered and posted in the forum as hardly anyone reads out here! The forum is busy and you'd get a better repsonse and feedback to bounce ideas and theories off
